Rocky T. Sheng, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
Rocky Sheng joined Bridgepoint Education in January, 2004. As Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, he is charged with managing and organizing the company’s overall operational structure.
Mr. Sheng has been working in post-secondary education for 19 years. Prior to joining Bridgepoint Education, Mr. Sheng worked for Apollo Group, Inc. serving as Vice President and Campus Director for University of Phoenix. He also worked as Senior Director of Enrollment for University of Phoenix’s largest campus in Southern California. At University of Phoenix, he successfully opened two campuses in Ohio and handled all of the marketing and recruitment for 12 Southern California locations.
Bridgepoint Education is dedicated to social responsibility and its corporate culture embodies that sentiment. An avid supporter of his local community, Mr. Sheng volunteers his time with Junior Achievement and regularly assists with the coordination of Ashford University’s Annual Tennis Clinic, an event benefitting physically and mentally disadvantaged athletes. Mr. Sheng currently serves on the board of directors at Springall Academy.
Mr. Sheng earned his MA from University of Phoenix and his BA from San Diego State University.
